Catholic Church dedicated to St. Joseph the Betrothed and Anthony of Padua in Boćki

General

Typ jednotky:

The dynamic baroque shape of the church serves as an invitation to its interior which is certainly worth visiting.

The church was built in the first half of the 18th century. The interior of the church boasts magnificent altars, precious relics such as a part of the thorn from Christ’s Crown and the unique tabernacle with frescoes by Jerzy Wilhelm Neunhertz. In 2004, the ashes of Duke Eustachy Sapieha, who died in Nairobi (Kenya), were laid to rest in the temple. He was a descendant of the family who owned Boćki estate.
